'Impact' - gross profit of RON 8.5 million for the first quarter

The total expenses during the analyzed period were lower, during the first three months, with over RON 9 million compared to the forecast ones. The total revenue registered in 2008 reaches RON 55.1 million, compared to the forecast RON 61.4 million, according to the IFRS standards. The financial results calculated according to the Romanian Accountancy Standards (OMFP) show that the net profit obtained in the first quarter of 2008 increased by 135% compared to the same period of 2007, reaching RON 5.13 million. The gross profit alsp increased in 2008, the company registering results of RON 3.4 million, compared to 0.2 million in 2007.

The significant profit increase registered in 2008 is based on the dobule value of the construction works completed, from RON 16.8 million in the first quarter of 2007 to RON 33.2 million in the first quarter of 2008.

The total revenue obtained in the first quarter of 2008 exceeded those made in 2007 with RON 19.1 million. The company shows that the value of the sales contract signed in the first quarter of 2008, compared to the same period of 2007, increased with 33%, from EUR 10 million in 2007 to over EUR 13 million in 2008.

The dobule value of the construction works was accomplished while reducing Impact's debt degree, from 75% on the 31st of March 2007 to 36% on the 31st of March 2008, thus registering a low dependency on the costs variations in the banking system, as well as a high potential to attract other loans for the new projects demanded by the market.

According to the press release, the new real estate projects, scheduled to start during this year, are Dala and Fontain Blue - in Bucharst, Junior II in Voluntari, Roua II in Ploieşti, and Lombfaza A - in Cluj Napoca.
