Impact looks for partners for 290 ha

Impact tries to find partnerships with other major international real estate companies for the successful completion of several projects. The Romanian side is to bring in the development field for this partnership, and the foreign side would contribute with the financing.

"We are interested in associating with an international company for major projects, due to the know-how they could bring in, which would accelerate the project completion and would improve the final product. Romania suffers from a shortage of professionals in all real estate areas", says Oana Trifu, company's Investor Relationship Manager.

The partnerships will be signed with different companies for each projects, and, for major pojects, even for each destination - retail, offices, hospitals or hotels. At present, Impact negociates with an international company for a joint-venture for the Greenfield II project, which has an investment value of EUR 160 million and a completion date set for 2011.

This project will be located on a field with a surface of 48.5 hectars. On the whole, Impact holds fields with a total surface of over 290 hectars. "The projects in development phase include only 20% of this surface", Dan Ioan Popp, Impact's chairman, explains.

The biggest part of the fields owned, of over 178 hectars, is included in the Lomb neighborhood, developed together with the Cluj-Napoca Town Hall, which, in the end, will cover a surface of 267 hectars. The company is currently developing 13 residential lots in Bucharest, Constanţa, Ploieşti, Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.
