Impact Research: Earnings of Potential Clients Decreased, but Expectations Increased

Although the earnings of potential clients are under decrease and expectations increased with regard to the habitat quality, they are still optimistic to be able to purchase a dwelling 2010, is the main conclusion of a research accomplished by Impact D&C, regarding the updated profile of those who are in search of a dwelling in the Northern areas of Bucharest.

"The research will help us to see the evolution from year to year the profiles of beneficiaries, especially during this period of economic contraction. Unlike other years, now there is found a greater attention related to the family safety and to traditional values, that, for us, may be translated by facilities for children and for the healthy spending of the spare time, by guard services and control of the current administration or heating costs", declared the representatives of Impact D&C.

Approximately 70% of the respondents are convinced that they can purchase a dwelling in the Northern area during the year 2010, taking into calculation non-banking acquisition solutions as well, preferring the support solutions from the part of the developer.

The research also compasses financial subjects such as the payment on time of the overheads: 77% state that they are not accustomed to accumulate debts where they live at present, 17% admit that this happens occasionally to them and 6% find explanations for the frequent payment delays.

For the beneficiaries that envisage the Northern area of the Capital, the placement of the quarter towards the work place is relevant to a less extent (22%) as anticipated, especially due to the easy access from DN1 (Baneasa passage) appreciated by 76%, to the proximity of shopping centers (73%) and to facilities they expect to find in the quarter (56%): fitness center, hairdresser's, shop, automated teller machine, free transport. Instead, 98% of the respondents consider that life in the proximity of wood influences in a major manner the decision to purchase, both for the extremely fresh air and quietness that are offered, and especially from the point of view of the outdoors activities that they practise or intend to practise.

The research was performed on a group of 556 potential beneficiaries during the interval 1st of December 2009 - 5th of February 2010.
