The housing demand increased with 40% in February 2009

At the last two real-estate exhibitions, in February 2009, IMPACT Developer & Contractor SA (IMPACT SA) recorded a number of 4,000 of visitors, the highest number of visitors that has been recorded in the last five months of attendance at the fairs.

100 of them have visited the Greenfield Project, which is located in the northern part of Bucharest, in the last two days of the Condominium Exhibition. During the exhibition, the transfers to the project site were provided by the developer.

So, between 6th - 16th February, Impact Developer & Contractor participated at two exhibitions and:

• Nine apartments (that was promoted, during the fairs, at special prices), have been sold.
• The number of customers that visited (together with the sales agents) the Greenfield Project doubled over the entire month of January
• The number of customers that made a reservation for apartments has increased with 40% compared to January 2009 and with 80% compared to December 2008
• The number of contracts and pre-contracts increased, in February, with 50% compared to January. The methods of purchasing preferred by the customers were: paid in full, CALLBUY (rent with option to purchase) and Find-L (direct financing from developer).

Compared to previous exhibitions it was noted the quality of the visitors, most of them are determined people, who intend to change or to purchase a house.

Therefore, the clients were interested in completed apartments, even with furniture, with 1,2 or 3 rooms. Other points of interest were: location, security in the neighborhood, the procedure's flexibility of purchasing.

"The number of contracts and pre-contracts that have been signed in the first part of the February, exceed the number of contracts singed in the previous months. It is a sign that the visitors have a real need for housing and they can't postpone endlessly the time of purchase. The place for fun, the forest, peace and clean air are the main factors that accelerate, during the spring, the decision of buying. We are trying to offer individualized financial solutions for customers needs" said, Carmen Sandulescu, CFO IMPACT Developer & Contractor.

National Real-Estate Exhibition was held at the Parliament Palace, in Bucharest, on 5th - 8th February and International Exhibition for Apartments, Condominium, took place at the Palace Hall, between 12th - 15th February.
