The Bucharest Technology and Information City's main objective is to set up an technology centric highly innovative education and business environment for IT&C corporations in Romania as well for local players and start‐ups.
The key element of the development would be an Information Technology private University to fill the current market gap of highly trained and qualified professionals the IT&C Multinational Corporations explosive growth in Romania require. The Excellence and Training Center would provide a strong base to emerging as a regional hub for Training and Specialized Certification Education.

While the Public Authorities support and state Universities involvement would be sought, the structure and operation of the Education arm of the Bucharest Information and Technology City shall be private, insuring thus access to international education alliances and also providing high-quality and specific targeted education services.
The university is designed for 4,000 students within an iconic hard-drive style building for administration offices, library and laboratories.
