IMPACT - Capital Market Day

In spite of this difficult times, ImpactDeveloper&Contractor organized on May 13th IMPACT - Capital Market Day, the event during each the company make public the financial situation under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and quaterly financial statements.

The event has provided to the analysts the access to all the information that they need to achieve a complete report. Meanwhile, representatived of financial institutions that were invited (ERSTE, BRD, CAIB, KBC Securities, BT Securities, SIF Banat Crisana, Explore Asset Management) have the opportunity to know better and analyze the experience of the largest developer in Romania in a global economy recession. During the event, Dan Ioan Popp - General Director, Carmen Sandulescu - Executive Director, Oana Trifu - Investors Relationship Manager and Florina Zainescu - PR Specialist presented the financial results for the first quarter of 2010, the updated strategy and the company goals. The special guest of the event was Stefania Baldovinescu, Consulting Division Manager for Colliers International, who had a keynote speech about the "The consumer behavior on the real estate market in these difficult circumstances (crisis)" and "Outlook for 2010-2011".

According to Ms Baldovinescu in Romania the forecasts provide a promising future, taking into account to the potential demand.  The statistics show that in Eastern Europe, Bucharest has the lowest stock of new dwellings per thousand inhabitants (404 dwellings per 1000 inhabitants) compare to Budapest (491 dwellings/1000 dwellings), Prague (484) and Warsaw (468).

Considering the focusing on the increase of market share, Impact D&C releases, this year as well, innovative dwelling solutions that would meet a most varied range of requirements of the clients: a lower price, a good location and increased technical standards. An example in this respect is constituted by the release, this month, as a premiere on the Romanian market, of the "Do it yourself" concept in residential real estate, that supposes the approach by the client, in direct labor, of some finishing stages of the dwelling, in exchange of a saving of 10%-40% from the price.

In addition, in the first quarter of 2010, Impact D&C continued the execution of works within the Quartz Project from the Greenfield urban pole and focused on the finishing of the design part for the new projects that would follow to begin this year.
