PR & Community Manager

About the Role
• The PR & Community Manager role is a key position within IMPACT, aimed at effectively managing community, corporate, and media communication. From this role, you will contribute to building and strengthening the company’s reputation both online and offline, as well as creating a positive image among the communities developed by IMPACT. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with community members and generate a positive impact among them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Onboarding & Resident Relations
• Designing and implementing the onboarding process for new residents.
• Communicating rules, facilities, infrastructure, and ongoing projects.
• Maintaining a constant relationship with administration and community structures.

2. Community Information & Communication
• Drafting and distributing official communications to the community.
• Simplifying and explaining technical or sensitive information.
• Monitoring feedback and reporting relevant insights.

3. Educational Programs for Residents
• Developing and coordinating educational programs (environment, coexistence, safety, well-being).
• Collaborating with NGOs, institutions, and educational partners.
• Creating informative materials.

4. Community Events & CSR
• Organizing community events and CSR initiatives.
• Coordinating logistics, communication, and impact evaluation.
• Actively engaging residents.

5. Minor Crisis Management
• Early identification of local reputational risks.
• Developing and implementing rapid, well-documented responses.
• Collaborating with internal teams to align messaging.

6. Corporate Events & Top Management Support
• Identifying events of interest for the company, negotiating and contracting participation.
• Attending corporate events, conferences, and public meetings alongside the CEO and CFO.
• Preparing key messages, talking points, and speeches.
• Adapting messages according to audience and context.

7. Corporate Communication
• Defining the corporate communication strategy.
• Preparing the annual budget.
• Supporting the drafting and adaptation of corporate communications relevant to investors.
• Ensuring consistency between community, media, and stock market messaging.
• Archiving and documenting sensitive communications.

8. Social Media (Corporate & Community)
• Defining the social media strategy.
• Managing corporate and community social media pages.
• Writing informative, educational, and reputation-focused content.
• Monitoring and managing comments and sensitive situations.

9. Media Relations & External PR
• Drafting and distributing press releases.
• Creating and writing advertorials, sponsored articles, and editorial materials.
• Preparing and coordinating interviews (briefings, key messages, follow-up).
• Managing ongoing relationships with the media.
• Monitoring media coverage and evaluating impact.
• Coordinating and overseeing collaboration with external agencies when necessary.

Candidate Profile

Experience
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in PR, corporate communication, media relations, or community management.
• Previous experience in a PR agency or in an in-house role covering agency-type responsibilities – a major advantage.
• Experience in fields such as real estate, urban planning, NGOs, public administration, or listed companies – an advantage.

Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (press releases, advertorials, speeches, official messages).
• Ability to manage multiple social media platforms.
• Strong media relations and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and regulated contexts.
• Romanian – excellent; English – advanced level.
