IMPACT completes a photovoltaic park in GREENFIELD Baneasa neighborhood

IMPACT Developer & Contractor, the first real estate developer listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, completes a photovoltaic park in the GREENFIELD Baneasa neighborhood in the north of Bucharest, an investment of over 2,750,000 euro. The new park consists of 1,297 panels and has a total capacity of 700 kWp.

The photovoltaic park covers an area of 7,935 sqm in GREENFIELD Baneasa and will provide 80% of the energy needed for the Wellness Club by Greenfield, 90% of the energy needed for the IMPACT office building and 30% of the energy needed for the buildings in the fourth phase of development of the neighborhood, including public lighting.

The photovoltaic park is to be connected to the grid by the end of the year and will annually produce about 785 MWh of renewable energy for the wellness club, the IMPACT office building and the apartments in the fourth phase of development of the neighborhood.

This is the third renewable energy solution developed by IMPACT in GREENFIELD Baneasa. Within the GREENFIELD Plaza shopping center, developed to BREEAM Excellent standards, there are solar panels, which cover about 70% of the energy needed for heating domestic water and swimming pools, as well as photovoltaic panels, which provide 25% of the electricity needed for the commercial gallery.

GREENFIELD Plaza is the first shopping center developed by IMPACT, located in the GREENFIELD Baneasa neighborhood. With a market value of over 25 million euros, the center has an area of 14,001 sqm, covering retail, wellness and office functions, 90% occupied. The shopping gallery contains supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salon, cafes, restaurants and laundry for clothes. Wellness Club by Greenfield hosts extensive sports and spa areas for adults and children: semi-olympic indoor pool, children's pool, outdoor pool, fitness room, group classes (cycling, pilates, yoga, zumba, stretching, children's classes, dances, martial arts), squash court, relaxation area with sauna and emotional showers, massage rooms. In addition, GREENFIELD Plaza includes a car wash and an office building. The 1,228 sqm of office are fully occupied by IMPACT.

GREENFIELD Baneasa is a large residential project with over 7,000 homes and over 17,000 inhabitants upon completion in 2028, located in District 1 of the Capital, built sustainably for a better urban future. The project is in the fourth phase of development out of six planned. Since 2007, the starting year of the works for the first phase of development, until now, GREENFIELD Baneasa has experienced a sustainable development, bringing to the community new infrastructure and new facilities: two private parks, numerous green spaces, playgrounds, convenience stores, GREENFIELD Plaza shopping center and Wellness Club by Greenfield sports center, public transport. As the project progresses and approaches maturity, other new facilities are added such as state school and kindergarten, nursery, church, infrastructure and new access ways.
