New Greenfield access road: IMPACT Developer & Contractor begins work on the new access road in the GREENFIELD Băneasa neighborhood
Bucharest, June 16, 2026 - IMPACT Developer & Contractor, a leading real estate developer in Romania, announces the start of construction on the new access road in the GREENFIELD Băneasa neighborhood, following the issuance of the building permit by the Sector 1 City Hall.
The new road connecting Aleea Teişani to the DNCB ramp near the Hobanat Bridge, crossing the 301Bb Mogoșoaia – R. Pasărea railway line will be completed in six months. The €2.5 million investment, fully funded by IMPACT, will improve traffic flow in the Băneasa area and provide direct access to the future M6 metro line.
“The start of construction on the new access road in Greenfield Băneasa represents a concrete step toward improving the neighborhood’s connectivity and ensuring a more balanced distribution of traffic flows in the Băneasa area, with a positive impact on traffic on National Road 1 and the Ring Road. The new road is not just a new entrance or exit from Greenfield, but a connecting link between the neighborhood and the major infrastructure of the capital’s northern area. We are pleased to have the support of local authorities in this endeavor, for the benefit of thousands of residents. We are confident that by the end of the year, the Greenfield community will be able to use this new road,” says Dan Sebastian Câmpeanu, CEO of IMPACT Developer & Contractor.
The construction of the new access road involves complex work, including the automation of the railroad crossing and the creation of dedicated turning lanes and storage areas at the intersections with Horia, Cloșca, and Crișan street. The land on which it will be built is owned by the developer IMPACT, and the costs of design, permitting, and construction are fully borne by the developer.
The new access road complements the infrastructure at Greenfield Băneasa that IMPACT has already developed to support residents' mobility
IMPACT Developer & Contractor remains committed to developing infrastructure designed to improve the needs of residents in the neighborhood in Northern Bucharest. In 2024, the company invested approximately 1 million euros in a new road connecting Drumul Pădurea Pustnicu and Bulevardul Platanilor. With a surface area of 3,000 square meters, two lanes in each direction, and sidewalks, this artery facilitates access to GREENFIELD Plaza, the Wellness Club, and the public school and kindergarten currently under construction.
